April 23rd, 2025 - Southeast Kansas Regional Planning Commission, Ecostrat and the BDO Zone Initiative are pleased to announce the issue of an investment grade BDO Zone ‘BBB’ Rating for Southeast Kansas. The BDO Zone is rated for 154,000 bone dry tons per year of corn stover, and extends within a 75-mile radius from the center point, the City of Parsons, KS.

Jessica’s family has lived in Southeast Kansas for 5 generations and she has seen firsthand the growing need for accessible housing in the region. Committed to improving the lives of those living in SEK, Jessica is looking forward to working with the Southeast Kansas Regional Planning Commission to secure funding and enhance access to housing in the region.
